Dr. Kiefer also maintains a strong interest in the integration of pain care with physical medicine and rehabilitation, behavioral therapy, and responsible opioid stewardship. He frequently collaborates with physical therapists, surgeons, and primary care physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans that restore function and improve quality of life.

His goal is to provide patients with the depth of expertise found in top academic centers, delivered with the efficiency, continuity, and responsiveness of a private practice setting.
Reviews:
"Dr. Kiefer is a very caring, understanding and empathetic pain doctor in a specialty where these traits are vital to any patient experiencing what I am.
We have developed a trust between us, and he does what is possible and effective to help relieve my chronic pain. I could not recommend Dr. Kiefer more highly."
"Dr. Kiefer is the absolute best! Don't hesitate or look anywhere else. He actually cares about his patients and takes the time to diagnose and treat you. He's not like everyone else that shoves you out the door after a minute conversation. Seriously, take my word for it. I have been his patient for a couple years."
"I wish all my doctors were as empathetic as Dr. Kiefer. Before I met Dr. Kiefer I was scared and in horrible pain. I have had three failed lumbar fusions starting over ten years ago. I also have red hair which makes me especially sensitive to pain. He listened to my story and got my pain under control. I can’t thank him enough!"
